This person should be skilled at analyzing multi-layered, large-scale data, visualizing them for everyone to know about the current customer experience, and driving the strategy toward our north star, with support from the manager and the teammates. The ability to promptly take actions, prioritize tasks properly, and manage the multiple due dates are essential to success in this role. Writing and verbal communication in both Japanese and English will be good advantage for this position.

Key job responsibilities

・Data Management Service; Manage Data, Reports, Visualization tools available and up-to-date for the team and stakeholders within the company.

・Providing Business Insights; Drive business by providing key data point and contribute for customer experience.

・Automation and Simplification of Data Structures; To earn long time value, invest resources for automation and simplification.

A day in the life

Our day starts from checking all the report live and issued promptly. Call-out to stakeholders if any problem found. Conduct analytics in the morning and summarize the findings in a document or in a team chat. One or Two meeting with your stakeholders in the afternoon. Sometimes you need input from them about business background, or you provide progress or conclusion from the data point perspective. There may be urgent request. Then you might be required to re-prioritize tasks, and rebalance your workload with your manager and teammates.

About the team

Our team owns the Speed and Delivery Quality. They cover the wide range of our fulfillment network. We have knowledge about the inventory placement, delivery promise, upstream systems, fulfillment centers' and trans operation. We are curious about whatever the new systems, processes, and projects which the other stakeholders make, and always consider the impact on our metrics, since we know how much important the Speed and Quality for our customers. We do not hesitate to make change on other teams' process or ourselves to get better fit to the latest condition.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience

• 1+ years of supply chain experience

• Fluent （Business level)in Japanese or English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology

• Experience in MS Access and SQL

• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

• Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
