SERVICE FIRST STAFFING Metal Saw Assistant in ABBOTSFORD, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties: The saw assistant works with the saw operator and loads finished parts onto a rack Will randomly check parts using a ruler for proper length (tolerance 1/8\" +/-) Will be counting parts on the cart to assure correct count Will be working around hot parts, so gloves are required Must Haves: Must be able to read a ruler up to 1/16\" Ability to use tape measure, height gage, caliper or square to verify against specifications (Will train on other measuring tools if they have basic ruler reading and math Familiar with fraction conversions company provides a conversion chart to use Basic Math Must be able to read and understand a work order Must be willing to work in a Loud, Hot and Dirtier shop environment Must have steel toes Physical Demands: Must be able to stand entire shift Must be able to kneel, crouch, walk, sit or crawl Regularly lift up 10#, frequently lift up to 25#, and occasionally lift up to 75# ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read a ruler up to 1/16\" They need this as they do random inspections on parts during runs to assure quality and to avoid scrap of order if not caught in time Ability to use tape measure, height gage, caliper or square to verify against specifications (Will train on other measuring tools if they have basic ruler reading and math GRADE SFS TEST!)
