Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Located in Acheson, AB (West of Edmonton)

Job Description:

3 positions open at this time (2 pickers and 1 shipper)

Picking: A contractor will take materials off the shelves that have been specifically designated and then will be lifting the boxes off the pallets and be putting them on a weight scale where the machine will measure out the dimension and the weight of the product. Once the dimensions have been taken they will have to input all of the numbers and measurements properly into the system to make sure that the measurements are properly documented and entered into the system.

Shipping: Mostly using pallet jacks and power jacks. Will also be expected to use emails to internal and external contacts (around 25-30 emails per day on average). Use a freight management system to enter in product leaving the building to be picked up and generate bills of lading.

Could potentially will be working in the following areas:

Shipping: Again mostly using pallet jacks and power jacks. Will also be expected to use emails to internal and external contacts (around 25-30 emails per day on average). Use a freight management system to enter in product leaving the building to be picked up and generate bills of lading.

Picking: Lots of walking in this role as some contractors will be picking orders within eye level while. Will use RF scanners when picking product (system is called TWL Online). Contractors will be picking products from the racking using RF scanners and order sheets. They will have to move up and down the isles, finding the products that is under the right SKU number and then putting them into totes to bring to the correct staging areas. They will have to make sure that the product counts are accurate and are the correct products for the orders.

Newish 120,000 sq ft warehouse.
