Forklift Operator

Job Description:

Working in the warehouse side of the production facility, contractors will be palletizing boxes of chips and wrapping them after they have been packaged in the production facility. They will spend majority of their day on the forklift about 70-80% of their shift. They will be racking large skids in tall racking systems as well as loading and unloading docked trailers. Contractors will spend time pulling customer orders and receiving inbound orders in their WMS system.

7am-7pm

7pm-7am

4 on 4 off, 2 weeks days 2 weeks nights - some weekends.

Work Environment:

Upon entering the warehouse, workers must put on a lab coat and full face/head hair mask, then wash and dry their hands at the hand wash station. The facility is slightly warm from the fryers, however forklift operators wont be working directly in production area, right outside going in and out of production doors on the forklift to pick up fully packed products. Being a food manufacturing facility, it's incredibly clean and tidy. Currently, there are 9 forklift operators working in the production facility, soon their will be up to 16 as they get more forklifts and increase production.
