[[PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: [[Under the direction of the Director of Vendor Management, the Strategic Accounts Representative supports the organization in coordinating internal and external resources to best monitor vendor performance thus maximizing organizational value.   • [Developing and maintaining long term relationships with Tier 1 vendors, which require greater internal department coordination, and external vendor coordination. Tier 1 vendors are those with the highest cost and risk thresholds. Typically these vendors are low turnover, because of the strategic nature of their business, but this increases their performance risk. Included in this management is:]{mce-=""}
    • oversight over regular status meetings
    • frequent joint operating meetings
    • on-site audits
  • Completing risk management reviews, including payment reconciliation and compliance performance risk
  • When turnover of these Tier 1 vendors is required, and as appropriate on a triennial (once every three years) basis, responsible for writing business requirements, and facilitating requests for proposal. [Tier 1 vendors are those that are high risk and high frequency.]
  • Responsible for managing transitions between vendors/exit strategies.
  • Completing other special projects and duties as assigned.
