New York State Dispute Resolution Association Fiscal and Contract Management Associate in Albany, New York

NYSDRA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fiscal and Contract Management Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing fiscal matters and contract management to ensure the efficient operation of our organization. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage fiscal operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and expense tracking.

  2. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and ensure timely payments.

  3. Assist in the development and maintenance of organizational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

  4. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.

  5. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

  6. Support grant management activities, including grant proposal development, compliance monitoring, and reporting.

  7. Manage contracts with vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

  8. Review and negotiate contract terms to protect the interests of NYSDRA.

  9. Serve as a liaison between NYSDRA and external stakeholders on fiscal and contract-related matters.

  10. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fiscal management and contract administration.

  11. Provide training and support to staff members on fiscal and contract management processes.

  12. Stay informed about relevant regulations and best practices in fiscal management and contract administration.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  2. Prior experience in fiscal management, accounting, or contract administration preferred.

  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

  6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  8. Commitment to NYSDRA's mission and values.
