Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machine tools such as lathes and milling machines

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts

• Study drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining methods

• Measure and examine completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications

• Adjust machine settings for different materials and finishes

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
