Job Description:

Syneren is currently seeking a System Programmer.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

• Leverage data collection tools, analyze data, to consolidate and refine organizational requirements.

• Consolidate and refine all requirements to assist in synthesizing interagency and organizational requirements into actionable items that lead to the design, development, test, validation and deployment of affordable application and database upgrades.

• Research, design, build (using best of Agile, DevSecOps, spiral, and incremental technology development approaches) document, test, certify, and validate DTSA applications stay on the leading edge of new technologies.

• Develop and execute tests of all availability-enabling capabilities. This includes testing restoration of backups and rolling back virtual machines. Tests must be approved by COR/GTM and may be waived/delayed by COR/GTM. Tests may use sampling if approved by COR/GTM.

• Develop and provide inputs on IT Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of total experience as a System Programmer or similar positions.

• Demonstrated experience as described in the “Responsibilities” section above.

• Relevant training and/or certifications supporting the position and the responsibilities as described.

• Active Secret Clearance

• IAT I Certification IAW DoD (For DoD IAT Level 1, you must have one of the following certifications - A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, or IAT II or III.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience within DoD

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT or business-related field such as Business, Management, Leadership, MIS, Computer Science.
