Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Project Support Supervisor to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

THE ROLE

The Project Support Supervisor leads a multi-skilled team in the administrative and coordination support of project management and construction within the Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction team. The Project Support Supervisor provides a professional service in the supervision of an allocated team, including responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, scheduling, training, mentoring, and resource and performance management. The Project Support Supervisor is accountable for the efficient functioning of their team, including the efficient and effective delivery of relevant project support services. This role also ensures that the project support functions are delivered in a manner that maximizes productivity and project success.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Lead and supervise a team in the planning, coordination, execution and administration of activities and tasks in support of project management.

  • Provides a professional service in the supervision of an allocated team, including responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, scheduling, training, mentoring, and resource and performance management.

  • Prepare, develop, update and manage procedural documentation relevant to project support service delivery.

  • Support stakeholder engagement, communication and requirement definition.

  • Provide leadership and vision to enable the delivery of consistently high-quality results that meet service delivery requirements.

  • Support the integration, coordination, compilation, documentation and communication of information, recommendations and advice relevant to project support service delivery.

  • Proactively manage resources to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery across the scope of project support.

  • Develop solutions to critical problems utilizing relevant operational and/or technical knowledge.

  • Maintain health and safety within the workplace by promoting safety awareness initiatives, discussions and trainings, encouraging a safety focused culture and participating and reviewing risk assessments for those under their supervision.

  • Any other reasonable duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Essential

  • Certificate IV or equivalent demonstrated experience Field: Any facilities relevant or related discipline

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience Field: Any facilities relevant or related discipline

Minimum Essential

  • Drivers License

  • Australian White Card

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Minimum Essential

  • Leadership and/or supervisory experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Project management/planning experience

  • Multi-tasking and resource prioritization

  • Ability to function in a high stress environment

Desirable

  • SAP experience

  • LOTO

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.

EHS REQUIREMENT
