DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this position, your responsibilities will include the upkeep and restoration of various county maintenance office properties such as buildings and stockpiles. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. This will involve ensuring the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems, as well as identifying any necessary follow-up or additional work. Moreover, you will provide support to diesel mechanics in completing significant repairs to equipment and vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting and organizing maintenance and repair information for vehicles and equipment. Lastly, you will be involved in lawn mowing and snow removal from the building grounds.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Overtime, shift-work and travel may be required for emergencies, training and specialized maintenance operations. Dual shifts required for snow removal operations. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
