Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Sr. Specialist, Audits and Assessments with experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our team!

Role Summary: The Sr. Specialist, Audits and Assessments will oversee the Audits and Assessments Program, including program procedures, scoping, protocols, scheduling, execution, follow-up, quality control, identification of improvements, and reporting related to internal and external audits and assessments at Buckeye Partners. Responsibilities & Essential Functions include: *Maintain Audit and Assessment Programs and Processes oMaintain and support implementation of Buckeye's audit and assessment procedures, processes and tools. oEnsure collection and reporting of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate whether audits and assessments are being implemented according the established internal and external audit and assessment procedures. oEnsures Audit and Assessment register, scopes, schedule, and protocols are maintained and available. oSupport and provide guidance on the structure, maintenance, and governance of audits and assessments within the and Assessment tracking and records management system (BIRD - SAI Global). oMaintain and deliver auditor training to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with Buckeye's requirements. oIdentify areas of continuous improvement within the Audit and Assessment processes and program. *Support Program Owners oCollaborates with Program Owners to define audit and assessment programs and protocols to measure conformance to and effectiveness of Buckeye's Standards, Procedures and Processes. oCoordinate with Program Owners to support the development, communication and implementation of annual audit programs including establishment of annual audit scopes and schedules. oAssist with generation and review of audit and assessment reports and result outcomes including: corrective action identification, assignment, and tracking where appropriate. oAssist Program Owners in the implementation of internal and external audits and assessments as applicable. *Implementation of Audits and Assessments oManages Buckeye's operational audit programs including the LIVE Safe Observations, Work Procedure Reviews, Spot Audit Program and Comprehensive Site Audit Program. oSupport development and implementation of SOMS related assessment and effectiveness evaluations including SOMS Self-Assessments, and Standard-Level Assessments. *Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, engineering or related field. *5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry. *Experience with management systems is a plus. *Prior auditing experience preferred. *Strong communication and writing skills. *Ability to present to all organizational levels. *Demonstrated ability to work well within cross-fun tional teams. *Proficiency using Microsoft Office products required. *Up to 40% travel.

Certificates & Licenses: *Auditor certification is a plus.

Other Skills, Attributes, and Abilities: *To succeed in this position, one must have excellent database, organizational, analytical, and recordkeeping skills. *A strong commitment to Operational Discipline and Continuous Improvement is expected.

Essential Functions: This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
