User Experience Content Designer II

The User Experience Content Designer II works with project teams by providing user-driven content design solutions, identifying customer touchpoints, creating user flows, training material, and producing best in class tone of voice. They align a project with success by providing best-in-class content design solutions.
Leads the gathering and formation of insights from user research, usability testing, UX benchmark examples, and applies user-centered design principles to identify content needs, craft content solutions, and deliver high-quality tone with impeccable grammar.
Collaborates with business teams and the Product Owner to understand business and technical requirements
Coordinates content reviews and action planning to ensure compliance to content approach and language standards
Develops work plans for content activities that include task breakdown, estimating, and dependencies to ensure accurate allocation of resource support
Mentors User Experience Content Designer level I’s to educate on content standards, tools, and processes
Completes other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the user experience function
Bachelor's Degree in in Writing, Technical Communications, or related field (e.g. learning experience design, interaction, graphics, visual communications, product, HCI, or equivalent experience) - Required
Master's Degree in in Writing, Technical Communications, or related field (e.g. learning experience design, interaction, graphics, visual communications, product, HCI, or equivalent experience) - Preferred
4 years of experience in a writing/design role (specifically composing user-interface text for apps and/or digital platforms) or the equivalent combination of education and experience; background in creative writing, marketing, or training; experience with style guides and templates; competent in all of facets of the design process, and proficient at editing, grammar, and using tone of voice to produce consistently good content.
