DUTIES: Serve as the technical support contact for the IT finance team supporting Oracle Financials and other Delta Dental specific custom finance applications. Ability to play a technical lead role to deliver end-to-end implementation projects. Responsible for closely working with business analysts in performing technical feasibility analysis and fit gap analysis for various solutions. Ability to articulate a business process and provide technical solutions on Oracle Financials for any enhancements. Responsible for the design and development of any custom reports, and custom modules as needed. Responsible for the technical scope of various initiatives and projects, identifying change requests if any deviations from the scope agreed. Work closely with the delivery leadership and project management team for development estimates to support the project planning and execution activities. Responsible for technical product evaluation for any implementations on Oracle ERP. Work with technical managers and directors in laying out the product roadmap and identify any potential technical patch updates and upgrades required for system maintenance. Should support future Oracle financials product upgrades to SaaS. Assist and support any Oracle patches upgrade that need to be done as part of system maintenance. Engage Oracle support in critical issues and resolve oracle production issues. Should collaborate with Oracle developers and Oracle DBA teams to maintain and support the applications. Telecommuting permissible from any location in the US.

Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or related field followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role.

Skills: Experience and/or education must include:

1. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation experience to deliver financial modules and evaluate industry best practices, streamline business operations using new out of box modules, implement new business capabilities like IDR, Cash Management reconciliation, and enable services to provide real time feedback to upstream and down-stream systems;
2. Understanding on prem financial modules in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to implement and upgrade transformational projects and support financial operations using at least one of the following: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Autonomous Transactional Processing Database, or BIP Extracts;
3. Oracle Fusion Middleware and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to implement middleware solutions to bridge the onprem and cloud by building or modifying integrations;
4. OAF (Oracle Applications Framework) to build custom modules, implement specific business needs, and support out of box modules;
5. VBCS and PCS. to enable business self-service and implement the workflow approvals; and
6. Create alerting and logging mechanisms to catch any errors during daily operations and support the production operations.
