Fiserv Product Management Advisor (Debit Payments) in Alpharetta, Georgia

What does a great Product Management Advisor do?

You will be responsible for all aspects of specific debit product lines within the Global Digital Commerce products team. In this role, you will work product management, sales and corporate technology to develop the requirements for specific products and coordinate the execution of that plan with other functional groups. You will play a critical role in achieving the overall objectives for the business by performing various project management duties in support of product development, sales enablement, thought leadership, market research, and commercialization. You will help the Digital Global Commerce team drive revenue, enable the sales and account teams to succeed, and help optimize profitability and delivery of digital solutions to our clients.

This role requires the strategic insight to see the big picture as well as ability to execute. You will be a contributor to and point person for the value proposition messaging for select products; and have a strong handle on developing and orchestrating product development and launch plans, including methods for client retention as well as new client acquisition, and measuring effectiveness of these plans.

As a Product Management Advisor, you can look forward to the following responsibilities:

  • Actively works with senior product management to understand specific product features/benefits being developed & lead/manage the successful launches of new products and feature releases

  • Managing product-related issues to resolution including problem identification, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and client communication

  • Scoping and prioritizing product features based on business impact, Legal input, and Compliance considerations

  • Working closely with the engineering team to deliver with quick time-to-market and efficient resources

  • Conducting sales training and participate in the sales process with clients

  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Drafting internal and external product-related communications

  • Assists with special initiatives and thought leadership activities

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Minimum 5 years of product management related experience in the debit payments industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Experience managing the product roadmap from both a technical and business standpoint

  • Ability to collaborate across business units and influence others to execute on strategy

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Petrol industry experience
