Xtime Inc  , a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a  Lead  Software Engineer  with Full stack experience with  Java, React, AWS, RDS PostGreSQL, REST Webservices  to join our software engineering team in Draper, UT.

Job Overview:

Using your expertise in Java, React and Cloud technologies you will help craft enterprise applications for our Fixed Operations group. In your role within an Agile Team, you will analyze and resolve complex challenges associated with application systems.

Technologies We Use:

Java, React, REST, Microservices, AWS Services, Terraform/ Terragrunt, Git, PostGreSQL, EKS/kubernetes, Junit, Selenium, Harness, React-native.

Responsibilities:

*  Perform technical oversight and assessment of development projects to ensure technical integrity and compliance with design requirements *  Design and develop highly scalable software products with extensive code coverage. *  Write test cases, perform and drive testing, write automation test scripts for continuous quality control. We follow Developer driven testing and TDD approach. *  Ensure the engineering processes, from conception through to deployment, delivers high quality architecture and user experience *  Provide mentoring, guidance and technical leadership for the development team *  Develop and apply best practices for secure coding and TDD/BDD *  Research new technologies, tools and develop proof of concepts

What We Look For:

*  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as Master's degree and 4 years' experience; Ph.D and 1year experience; or 18 years' experience in a related field. *  Minimum 5 years of experience writing SQL for backed applications *  Minimum 8 years of experience writing Java *  Minimum 5 years of web development experience using JavaScript/React, HTML, and CSS *  Significant and demonstrable experience with developing SaaS/Cloud applications on AWS *  Proven experience designing or implementing public facing REST APIs *  Expert understanding of web technology and experience using or creating web services *  Significant and demonstrable experience of implementing coding best practices around scalability, availability and performance. *  Strong understanding of version control systems *  Able to rapidly and effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions *  Able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts, and explore...
