Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Fiber Program Communication Project focused on installing ICONs. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of the project, ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including contractors and internal staff. Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and project success. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Prepare and present regular financial reports to management. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including team members, contractors, and management. Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns promptly. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry. Experience with fiber optic projects and ICON installations is highly desirable. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Additional Information: The project involves directing a team for the installation of SEL-ICON devices for analog tone circuit conversion to fiber ethernet, . The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating installation activities and resources.

Job Details and Requirements Section 1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for). The scope of the work/project involves managing multiple projects within the department, specifically focusing on the deployment and management of network and business system devices. Key responsibilities include overseeing the deployment of Icon network devices in the field, which is a new task for the department and Managing business system resources in the field, particularly devices located in substations. This role requires coordinating these deployments and ensuring the successful management of both network and system devices across different field locations. 2. What does a typical day look like? This resource would attend meetings and report back on need of field resources and work with them on timing/scheduling to ensure we're meeting in service dates. There is an outside plan engineer that goes out to the sites and views the projects in the field. This resource will be in communication with that plan engineer and attending the meetings basically going to be attending the meetings with other project managers that are running the project for each site and reporting back status. This resource will also be responsible for communicating with leader/team on upcoming needs and working through scheduling and verifying all resources are where they need to be. The projects that we work through are as follows: Deploying ICON Network devices in the field for the fiber communication project, which is a Transmission project. There are also the Business system projects which consist of deploying router switches at substations for corporate communications for engineering access. There may be a few other ad hoc projects that this resource may work on like new service Center builds, where they'll be responsible for attending the meetings and working with the contractors, and the general managers of those sites.
