As the Regional Sales Manager for Upper Extremities and Foot and Ankle in the Netherlands , you'll spearhead growth initiatives and cultivate a high-performing sales team of 6 individuals. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where your adeptness in building relationships internally and externally is pivotal. Your passion for developing people and exceptional communication skills will be paramount. You will be a member of the Extremities Northern Europe Leadership team, and responsible for the revenue targets of the region.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Teams: Strategically motivate and guide teams to surpass targets in a fiercely competitive capital sales market. Utilize insightful leadership techniques to inspire excellence and capitalize on emerging opportunities effectively.

  • Develop Comprehensive Strategies : Devise and execute robust commercial strategies that integrate Marketing, Key Accounts, Flex Finance, ProCare, and X-Div. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics to drive sustained growth and market leadership.

  • Provide Insightful Forecasts: Offer precise monthly sales forecasts derived from strategic analysis and market insights. These forecasts serve as crucial inputs for agile decision-making, enabling proactive responses to market shifts and resource optimization.

  • Contribute to Marketing Plans : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute annual marketing plans. Ensure synergy between sales and marketing efforts to maximize impact and drive customer engagement, ultimately enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.

  • Manage Key Customer Relationships : Cultivate and strategically manage key customer relationships to strengthen Stryker's market presence and foster long-term partnerships. Leverage deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to position Stryker as the preferred partner, driving customer loyalty and sustainable growth.

  • Drive Performance Through Coaching : Implement strategic coaching, mentorship, and tailored training programs to elevate team performance and effectiveness. Identify skill gaps and development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achievement.

  • Implement Succession Planning: Proactively identify and nurture high-potential individuals within the team to build a robust pipeline of future leaders. Develop and execute strategic succession plans to ensure continuity in leadership and sustain organizational growth and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences/economics.

  • Successful sales track record, preferably in the healthcare sector.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in contributing to and executing marketing budgets and plans.

  • Proven ability to drive market share growth and meet financial commitments.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Excellent communication skills (C1 level) in English and Dutch, both verbal and written.

  • Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information

  • Traveling on field is expected 50% of the time, you will spend the remaining time working from home.
