Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves automating daily tasks, patching vulnerabilities, collaborating with the IT Security team to secure applications, and performing maintenance and upgrade activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage an efficient image refresh pipeline to ensure up-to-date application environments.

• Monitor and provide support for applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Oversee release deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.

• Automate routine daily tasks to improve operational efficiency.

• Identify and patch vulnerabilities in a timely manner, collaborating with relevant teams.

• Collaborate with the IT Security team to implement security measures and ensure the overall security of applications.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and upgrades to keep systems and applications up-to-date.

• Ensure timely and comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and changes.

• Generate and provide regular reports on system performance, releases, and security metrics.

• Lead incident response efforts and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.

• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent and reproducible infrastructure.

• Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards learning new tools and technologies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github CI/CD).

• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Good knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).

• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments, identify potential security risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing access controls and identity and access management solutions.

• Expertise in Cloud security principles and best practices.

• Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, with a willingness to adapt and learn new tools and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Good to have experience on database administration.
