Robert Half Bookkeeper in Arlington, Texas

Description We are in search of a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team based in Arlington, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is crucial to the efficient functioning of our operations. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing general accounting processes such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Conducting regular invoicing and possibly handling payroll for a team of 27 employees.

• Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.

• Utilizing QuickBooks to manage 100-150 invoices, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Understanding not just the transaction itself but the effect it has on the overall accounting.

• Conducting research and asking questions to ensure accuracy and understanding of financial processes.

• Maintaining vendor relationships and possibly interfacing with customers if required.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and month-end close processes.

• Monitoring and managing customer credit applications and records.

• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Demonstrated Bookkeeping skills are essential

• Proficiency in Data Entry is required

• Experience with Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures is needed

• Experience with Payroll processing is necessary

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential
