Description: Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Contract Negotiator Senior that supports the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Program (IAMD) Lower Tier. Tasks include proposal preparation support, negotiations, contract administration, contract guidance and contract closeout; Reviews and evaluates customer requests for proposal/information or revisions to contracts; Assists with preparations of proposals, developing and review briefing packages, fact finding and negotiation; Provides risk assessments and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language/clauses; Investigates and reconciles significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. and advises management of contractual rights and responsibilities. Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate should be a self-started who is detail and teamwork oriented.

The candidate must be capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Responsibilities also include being the primary contact with US Government contracting officer and the DCMA administrative contracting officer.

The candidate must be capable of coordinating solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Contracts experience

FAR/DFAR experience

Experience with FFP/FPI contract types

Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and Power Point)

Ability and willingness to travel to support program needs at US Government owned facilities

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired Skills:

Experience negotiating and administering contracts with the U.S. Government is preferred.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
