Donor Relations Officer II

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Donor Relations Officer II will play a leading role in establishing and strengthening VHC Health’s relationships with both new and existing donors. The position will work directly with donors, advancing VHC’s mission, through strategic communication, donor engagement, cultivation, solicitation, strategic communication and recognition, as well as in-person or virtual activities with a focus on the Outpatient Clinic, women’s health issues and the Grateful Patient Program. The Donor Relations Officer II will work collaboratively with other donor officers and senior Foundation staff to ensure that all activities, communications, materials and other contacts foster a positive donor experience and lead to stronger relationships.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Four years of fundraising experience is preferred.

Fundraising in healthcare is preferred.

Donor relations experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None.
