Position Summary: 

The Senior Director, Member Insights (Strategic Account Review) advises members on commercial strategy and is responsible for building strategic relationships across Academy members. This person is an important value driver in a growing program that offers insight and intel on Leading Health System trends, challenges, priorities, and the senior executives that lead them. Serving as a trusted advisor, this person engages with members regularly to ensure membership value, and improve the organization’s commercial performance, and develop compelling collateral to better connect with health system executives.   

Primary Job Duties: 

  • Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with Academy members   

  • Conduct regular strategic account reviews for industry members, including advising on commercial approach, relationship mapping, issue identification, and action planning   

  • Review industry member sales pitch material and offer feedback to improve messaging, format, and narrative  

  • Maintain familiarity of key market and industry trends, and priorities of specific leading health systems and their executives  

  • Work across departments and leadership, to ensure members see value   

  • Mentor other team members and new hires; serve as senior resource and example on the team  

  • Interact with internal and external executives to advance the commercial process and achieve key go-to-market milestones within named accounts  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree required   

  • 6+ years of healthcare sales, complex account, and relationship management experience   

  • Successful record of accomplishment as a salesperson or account manager in the healthcare industry  

  • Ability to quickly assess and become highly knowledgeable about a particular industry company, and offer up strategic advice on their commercial approach  

  • Previous experience proactively assessing, validating, and prioritizing partner needs on an ongoing basis, channeling input from members into product roadmaps and strategies  

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue goals and/or quotas  

  • Salesforce Experience preferred

Compensation:

Salary starting at $150,000 per year and up plus benefits
