Amazon Route 53 is a highly available and scalable DNS-based naming and routing service offered by Amazon Web Services. We enable high availability for most AWS services via intelligent routing either directly or indirectly. Our services enable our customers to build high scalable, reliable, and available applications on AWS.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) help grow and scale our services across Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions. This is an exciting opportunity to use the latest cloud computing technologies to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems in ADC regions.

The AWS Route 53 ADC team is seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will focus on developing programs to ensure we deliver Route 53 services and features to all of our government customers. We're looking for a TPM who can work well across numerous engineering teams. The ability to break down and solve complex problems, propose novel solutions, and communicate plans to leadership and stakeholders are all markers of success in this role! As a TPM in the Route 53 team you'll be able to think big, and play a key part in ensuring our customers continue to have the best experience possible while using Route 53.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience in system design

  • Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering

  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
