Insight Global Pump Technician in Arvada, Colorado

Job Description

A company is looking for a Pump Technician in the Arvada, CO area (Typically M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm). The Pump Tech take direction from the Project Manager or VP and will play a crucial role in diagnosis of Pump systems. Responsibilities include 50% consulting work to educate clients about pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves and 50% documenting your work, inspecting parts, ordering components, painting and testing systems. Candidates should be able to communicate well with clients, suppliers, and company staff, and use basic computer and blueprint reading skills. The technician must have personal hand and portable tools.

Skills and Requirements

Can pass a drug test, Reliable, Independent

4+ years' experience with Pump Diagnostics

Knowledge of controls, pump starters, vertical speed drives, motors

Owns basic hand and portable electric tools GED

Military experience null
