Position Summary
In this role you will be responsible for coaching and leading Datacenter & Cloud Product Group Manager(s) and Product Managers to ensure that effective Vendor Management practices and capabilities are executed, acting as co-pilot for all Vendor related subjects. You will be in regular collaboration with Product Group Management to align sourcing and delivery management. You will contribute to the development of Strategies based on Industry Standards to develop Service Delivery & Sourcing Strategies and risk/performance management and you will be a Subject Matter Expert for collaboration with Nestlé Global Procurement reflecting the Datacenter & Cloud requirements in a simplified common framework, incorporating clearly defined and transparent IT vendor performance metrics in accordance to structured governance with the vendors.
A Day in the Life of DC&Cloud – IT Vendor Management Specialist
Supports the implementation of effective vendor ecosystem management practices to support Product Groups end-to-end accountability and value delivery
Creation of an operating model that supports expected quality (as defined between the Product Managers and the Office of CIO) and value delivery with large and small suppliers and can support DevOps or innovation initiatives with the required agility and speed
Establish metrics / key performance indicators (KPIs) and real-time dashboards for the on-going contract life cycle (spend, initiatives, etc.) within and across product teams, suppliers, and geographies ensuring cross vendor end to end accountability and performance
Development of evaluation tools, scorecards and dashboards to provide transparency and advise to product teams and to senior management
Organize and Chair in-scope partner(s) governance: manage periodic reviews, share metrics, define action plans and monitor actions.
In terms of risk management, provides oversight to partner audits where required; arranges and directs departmental activities and schedules (often in cooperation with asset management teams)
Ensure high quality/high impact transparency and decision-making within the governance bodies and in all interactions with IT customers.
Supports Vendor Management Office to deliver best-in-class IT Products with the right balance of external services and assets at the best value for money, risk and speed balance.
What will make you successful
Preferably bachelor's degree in business (IT management), engineering or IT
At least 3+ years in managing IT contracts and relationships or experience as an IT vendor, managing customer accounts and relationships
Having technology background and/or experience working in IT is a must
Managing cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way
Contract management, negotiation and influencing skills
Good know how of manipulating data / visual dashboard and analytics products
Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns
