Confidential Employer Staff Accountant in Aston, Pennsylvania
The responsibility will include two real estate entities and a manufacturing operation, with about 25-30% time spent on property management tasks, and 70-75% as the sole accountant for a small manufacturing company and assisting with GL closing processes for a large manufacturing company. The staff accountant will process invoices to customers and tenants, receive deposits and apply them to the appropriate accounts, prepare and distribute vendor checks for mailing, prepare assigned detailed account reconciliation statements, prepare financial statements monthly (using QuickBooks), and other general accounting duties. The staff accountant will also work with the senior accountant of the large manufacturing company to support the monthly close process and other tasks, such as: prepare journal entries weekly and monthly, reconcile/review GL accounts, calculate/maintain accruals and pre-payments, analyze expense accounts and inventory, and other tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the companies.
The right candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience in a corporate environment, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification, proficiency with Quickbooks, and experience with Visual Manufacturing or similar ERP software are pluses.

Pay range: $28.85 - $31.25 hourly - negotiable for the right candidate
