We are seeking a highly motivated detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Entity Accounting & Reporting Analyst in our offices in Asturias .

Specifics of the position are :

Based in Asturias, Spain and reporting to the APAC Entity Accounting & Reporting Team Manager, the incumbent will be the Finance primary contact for administration, statutory accounting, tax and assist on certain legal requirements.

The role will also require to and will make the connection between the businesses in several countries, Asturias Office and any external stakeholders. He/she will be responsible for the overall accounting, reporting, compliance, preparation of local statutory accounts as well as tax accounting for various entities. He/she will also link with local authorities/ external consultants/ external audit team as required.

  • Local/Site Support for all Finance related processes.

  • Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities related to all the entities under his/her responsibility, month-end accruals, account reconciliations, reconciliation of US GAAP books to local books, reconciliation of external accounting records to SAP, trend analysis, and preparation of local statutory accounts.

  • Participate and support internal and external audits, be the first point of contact for any tax questions relating to the assigned entities.

Responsible for all data collection related to overall reporting requirements for the local legal entities.

  • Responsible for Internal Control activities for Local and Financial Reporting process assigned for the local entities.

  • Ensure that any new developments in US GAAP or Internal Corporate.

  • Accounting policies and procedures are properly applied in the legal entities.

  • Ensure accounting data complies with US GAAP and local GAAP reporting and promote correct usage of accounts.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes.

  • Act as connection bridge and facilitator with other functions and businesses for any specific requirements in the countries, including application or development of internal processes.

Skills & Competency Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, chartered accountant (or equivalent).

  • 3+ years work experiences in accounting.

  • Computer Proficiency including SAP & SAP4H, MS Office (especially Excel).

  • Preferred knowledge and experience of local GAAPs.

  • Ability to adapt to recurrent changes, champion them and fast grasping knowledge.

  • Ability to relate and connect processes.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Language Skills: English proficiency.

  • Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can influence people to obtain the desired results.

  • Experience in working in international, multicultural environments.

Pay Range (in local currency):

€36,640.00 - €57,250.00
