You will have the opportunity to engage with media, clients, colleagues, and influencers to help a large, multi-national enterprise technology client tell their story. Our work touches a variety of fields including AI, cloud, security, ecommerce, human resources technology, and more.

We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive (AE) to join our growing technology team to help us realize this vision and drive our industry forward. A great AE for the Edelman Technology team is somewhat of a unicorn: someone who understands a wide array of technologies, knows how to reach a variety of trade, business, and enterprise audiences, and has an appetite to own and drive integrated communications campaigns.

The Role: Coordinate and help plan media outreach programs including tours, events, conferences, interviews, and new media outreach Apply key client information, including general business strategy, industry trends and issues, products/services, key opinion leaders, customers, and competitors Manage projects from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence Engage with media and develop media pitches, client correspondence and briefing materials, including schedules, messaging and reporter background to support media interviews Monitor and report on key client and competitor announcements, events, and news including earnings reports, acquisition announcements, and more Understand key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors Provide client service administration including preparing client status and activity reports, attending client meetings (developing agendas and recaps), compiling client and competitor coverage reports, scheduling, and logistics

Qualifications: Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills Have at least one year of full-time experience in Communications, preferably in an agency setting A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as public relations, journalism, English, communications or business Experience and/or strong interest in technology communications Strong work ethic, attention to detail and dedication to consistently provide high-quality work to their team and clients Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with large teams Strong writing skills and familiarity with AP style and Microsoft Office. Proficient organizational, scheduling, and project management skills; possess the ability to meet mul iple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to new priorities.

$42,000 - $62,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
