We are currently seeking a Flow Applications’ Manager who will be responsible for leading the Flow Applications Scientists’ Team in Eastern USA

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Direct staffing, interviewing, training, and performance evaluations within field-based Application Scientists including providing training to new associates in the areas of product expertise, product implementation, project management and effective time management

  • Coach, train and develop Field-based Application Specialists in building a strong, progressive, and motivated work team, as well as providing team leadership

  • Implement a Project Management Expertise within the group for every project with performance related and measured KPIs. Review and implement Performance objectives (KPIs)

  • Ensure customer satisfaction

  • Leverage key relationships with internal and external Senior Leaders to achieve current and future strategic goals

  • Develop and execute key strategies for advancing Beckman Coulter trust and credibility with external stakeholders and align long term partnerships with our key customers

  • Establish and manage on-going procedures/processes for communication of information necessary for accomplishing objectives.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Master's Degree or PhD in science or equivalent and 3+ years’ experience in Science/Medical/Clinical field

  • 5+ years Flow Cytometry with strong background in Immunology and hematology

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 2+ years of previous team management experience is a plus.

  • Strong communications and human relations skills

  • Strengths in networking and relationship development

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Problem solving and project management skills.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
