Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Project Manager HCS to join our TEAM! As the Project Manager of HCS , we need someone ready to provide a variety of support to our team. The Project Manager HCS will need to have great attention to detail, customer service, patience, and display work ethic. The person who will fill this position will need to hit the ground running being that it’s a vital position to the company.

Primary Objective

The Project Manager - HCS meets and exceeds the marketing expectations of home improvement retail accounts. Responsible for the overall direction, execution, control, and completion of all marketing materials for each customer. Ensures the established brand guidelines are implemented with the launch of new products. Establishes proper communication structures between sales and the larger cross-functional marketing group (Marketing Services, Product, R&D, & Brand).

Primary Function and Scope

  • Project Management Responsibilities

  • Supports the needs of home improvement retail accounts with product launches as well as new stores, and other training activities.

  • Assists Marketing Manager, Home Centers in the creation of the commercialization plan for new products.

  • Implements agreed upon assets determined in the commercialization plan.

  • Includes the analysis of consumer research for new products for each customer.

  • Acts as a liaison between sales and the larger marketing organization to implement customer-driven projects.

  • Collaborates with Brand Managers to reinforce established brand guidelines concerning each consumer base.

  • Working with a graphics team to design merchandising.

  • Drives projects with Marketing Services to develop boards and ensure on-time in-store execution.

  • Delivers board design, and store counts, and communicates appropriate timelines to marketing services.

  • Works with Marketing Services to ensure quality & appropriate inventory levels.

  • Project planning and management for marketing projects for home improvement retail accounts.

  • Manages assigned project budgets.

  • Leads cross-functional meetings to accomplish goals.

  • Tracks project deliverables and provide direction to both internal production teams.

  • Monitors and reports the progress of projects regularly either through established meetings or via email updates.

  • Prepares and presents reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.

  • Provide feedback at the end of projects with recommendations on areas of improvement.

  • Responsible for organizing and managing online assets for specified accounts to optimize sales.

  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve the .com presence for Dal-Tile brands within their dedicated retail accounts.

  • When necessary, give direction to outside marketing agencies as needed for special projects.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet Applications required

  • Experience marketing in the floor covering or building product categories a plus

  • 5+ years of direct work experience coordinating project requirements and delivering on time and budget within a marketing organization.

  • Strong track record of effective communication skills working with different internal and external customers.

  • Experience working with photography and room scene development preferred.

  • Experience with finished building products and multi-brand development preferred.

  • Self-starter with strong multitasking, organization, project management, problem resolution, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize projects to meet all customers’ expectations.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Has a strong working knowledge and understanding of marketing mix, creative, and collateral production.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to accomplish work objectives; developing relationships with other individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating other's efforts and points of view.

  • Performs duties with some latitude for independent judgment and decision-making within the framework of the position.

  • Ability to influence and foster teamwork at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
