The Senior Scrum Master is required to lead, project manage and support software development required for AT&T's Fiber Broadband Priority. This priority entails building and deploying new software capabilities for AT&T Broadband Service Delivery and the Network Inventory Transformation effort that have wide ranging impacts on BBNMS-LS, GRANITE and other OSS systems.

The candidate will perform in a Scrum Master/technical project management role focused on internal AT&T Application software development projects supporting AT&T's Fiber Broadband priority. The candidate will typically manage these projects/programs from the initiation phase through delivery. They will possess and leverage knowledge in some of these areas such as Broadband, Telecom network, Cloud and ServiceNow technologies. The candidate is also responsible for meeting the project/program requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the project/program scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk. The role could expand from Scrum Master/Project Manager to RTE. The candidate will also anticipate problems in project delivery and devise solutions to keep the project on track. Position will also report status to leadership and influence specific project plans and timelines. The scrum team uses an agile scrum development methodology which allows the team to self- organize and make changes quickly.

Qualifications:

  • Requires senior level experience, typically requires 5-8 years experience.

  • Independent thought and ability to make decisions are required.

  • Ability to work independently and determine best approach to managing and leading.

  • Required to serve as a team leader for projects/programs and mentor junior team members.

Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in any Technical, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
