One of the global leaders in the risk assessment space is looking to build out one of their backend engineering teams in Alpharetta! They are undergoing a massive re-architecture of a core application from C++ to Java, and are targeting folks who are interested in helping build a brand new solution from scratch. Lots of new development and interesting challenges lie ahead!

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience migrating apps/systems from C++ to Java

• Ability to architect Java microservice applications

• Extensive experience with Spring/Springboot

• Lots of experience deploying to the cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience within the insurance industry

• Experience with risk analysis or risk assessment

• Architectural experience

• Tech Lead experience

• 90% Java Development

• 10% C++ refactoring

Daily Responsibilities

· 70% Hands on coding

· 30% Architecture design
