Continental Intern - Project Management, Year-Round in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Project management (PM) is the application of knowledge, competencies, tools, techniques, and collaboration principles to meet project requirements. The Project Management Intern’s responsibilities include:

  • Being part of the core Project Management team for a Telematics product

  • Supporting in the administration and coordination of activities related to change management initiatives

  • Sales planning and reporting

  • Management of sample orders and execution

  • Being part of the production parts approval process

  • Overall project status reporting

  • Strong desire to learn and obtain new knowledge and skills

  • Good communication and leadership skills

  • Self-motivation and ownership

  • Good time management and organizational skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the area of business engineering, business administration, economics, or similar

  • Able to work a minimum of 20+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)

  • Currently enrolled in a university for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internship

  • Minimum Sophomore standing or higher

  • Must have and maintain a 2.8 GPA or higher

  • Able to come onsite to our Auburn Hills, MI Auto HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)

  • Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Excel and practical experience with Power BI)

  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
