Our client, a leading fabric distributor is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their growing organization.  The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting a team of 11 with all shipping and receiving activities in this busy distribution site.

The hourly pay range for this position is between $16.00 - $17.00 depending on experience.  The work schedule is Monday -- Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with occasional overtime as needed.

This is a temporary to hire position.

Warehouse Associate Duties:

• Receive incoming materials and place in an organized manner in the warehouse.
• Enter received materials into inventory database.
• Place materials onto boards for trimming.
• Measure and cut materials according to customers specifications.
• Wrap materials for shipment.
• Creating labels using Word.

• Conduct daily physical inventory counts.

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• Minimum of HSD or GED
• 1+ years of related experience

• Ability to work with rolls of material that can weigh up to 70 pounds (two person lift)

   

Warehouse Associate Skills:

• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with strict time constraints.
• Ability to use a hand jack and pallet jack.

• Basic computer skills.
