Rush Copley Medical Center Director/Inpatient Nursing in Aurora, Illinois
Position Summary:
The Director is responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining excellence in clinical practice and effectiveness, strategic initiatives and efficiency of operations within their defined areas of responsibility. This position serves to facilitate collaborative professional relationships with the medical staff and all other hospital departments. The position models the Rush Copley Medical Center mission, vision and values and ensures that operations result in high quality, team oriented, patient focused and cost-effective services. The position acts in accordance with Rush Copley Medical Center policies and procedures and holds others accountable for meeting regulatory and best practice standards.
Position Requirements:
Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
Education: Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher required.
Graduate degree required; earned doctorate preferred.
Certification: National certification required within 1 year of hire.
Special Skills: Knowledge of CARF accreditation.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years progressive management experience required.
