Summary:

The Account Management team, part of the Small & Medium Business Group, is dedicated to aiding the growth of small and medium-sized businesses by optimizing their advertising strategies across Meta's suite of apps and services. Account Managers play a crucial role in driving sales and supporting clients to achieve business outcomes on Meta through expert consultation, relationship management, and a strong grasp of analytics and product knowledge.Ideal candidates are expected to forge deep connections with clients and maintain effective internal relationships with cross-functional teams. They should be adept at driving marketing strategies and hands-on with executing tactics. This role demands a profound understanding of both brand and performance marketing, aiming to boost revenue and foster customized learning and long-term partnerships.Success in this role hinges on outstanding consultative sales, coaching, and client service skills, coupled with a readiness to innovate. Candidates should excel in a team-oriented and dynamic environment, possess superior analytical skills, and be proficient in navigating complex challenges, offering solutions, and using data to challenge conventional approaches. The capability to travel and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is also essential.

Required Skills:

Account Manager, Mid-Market Small & Medium Business Group Responsibilities:

  1. Provide dedicated account management to advertisers

  2. Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of advertiser goals

  3. Boost revenue and increase product adoption through achieving client objectives

  4. Become proficient in Meta's solutions tailored for businesses of all sizes and swiftly adapt recommendations to meet diverse advertiser requirements

  5. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive transformational advertiser growth

  6. Develop and implement programs to improve the advertiser/agency experience

  7. Oversee account operations, including troubleshooting and escalations, to ensure prompt and effective resolution.

  8. Work cross-functionally within sales and other Meta organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

  9. Work on initiatives with limited and defined scope and execute independently

  10. Build and continue to refine your point of view on Meta products through regular self-education and discovery

  11. Lead external client education and consultations on existing best practices and future product solutions, in partnership with internal functional teams.

  12. Prioritize client and team face-time, with the ability to travel for external and internal meetings and events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in account management, brand/performance marketing, digital marketing, sales, or consulting

  2. BA/BS degree or Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certification

  3. Proven communication and presentation skills

  4. Experience cultivating sales skills and client relationships

  5. Expertise in analyzing data from various sources, both quantitative and qualitative, and presenting it clearly and concisely.

  6. Skill in developing actionable insights and storytelling through data visualization.

  7. Experience to confidently deliver insights to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge

  8. Experience in collaborating, communicating, and influencing across a diverse set of cross-functional teams.

  3. Experience across Meta’s full suite of advertising solutions

  4. Proficiency in business case modeling and assessing market/opportunity size

  5. Understanding of fundamental business accounting, finance, and statistics

Public Compensation:

$107,000/year to $171,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
