salary: $18 - $20 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and verbal instructions to assemble, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot issues, and correct errors as needed.

• Adhere strictly to safety standards to maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

• Attend mandatory health and safety training sessions, follow safety and security protocols, and promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisors or the Safety department.

• Follow operating instructions, use necessary protective equipment, and handle equipment and materials appropriately to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components.

• Enter data on computer terminals to record progress, work expenses, and labor details; may also perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations.

• Inspect finished work for quality assurance, receive incoming parts, and conduct audits to ensure availability for assembly, testing, and repair processes.

• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot processes to enhance efficiency.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
