POSITION: DESKTOP SUPPORT

LOCATION: AUSTIN

DURATION: 6 MONTHS

RATE: $25-$30/HR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Day to Day:

• Collect hardware.

• Repurpose or retire equipment.

• Imaging and ticket work.

Must Have:

• Hardware experience, basic triage, diagnostics and imaging.

• Manage the assets that are both deployed and in inventory, maintain accurate Asset records for each user and each piece of equipment.

• Coordinate and perform hardware moves, changes and exchanges.

• Provide break/fix support for hardware.

• Manage and process hardware warranty claims and issues and facilitate warranty repairs with third party vendors.

• Document and maintain user request and incident records in IT Service Management System.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Desktop support or related experience.

• Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing.

• Knowledge of desktop imaging.

• Solid understanding of desktop hardware.

• Strong familiarity with desktop hardware.

• Foundational knowledge in warranty.
