We are seeking an experienced Design Verification Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud server platforms. Our success depends on our world-class infrastructure; we’re handling massive scale and rapid integration of emergent technologies.

As a member of the Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration team you’ll be responsible for the design and validation of machine learning hardware in our data centers.

Some of your responsibilities will include verifying/validating that our hardware and software solutions achieve their desired functionality, developing and executing multi-faceted verification/validation plans, and measuring the teams progress towards our ambitious customer metrics.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Austin, TX, USA | Cupertino, CA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of design verification experience using System Verilog and UVM

  • 4+ years of experience in testbench development including: stimulus, checkers, assertions and coverage

  • 2+ years of experience verifying multiple levels of logic including: IP blocks and full SOC system testing

  • Experience with C/C++, Python, or Perl

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Degree or Higher in EE or CS or CE.

  • Experience using multiple verification platforms

  • Experience with formal verification

  • Experience with embedded software

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
