Intertek PSI, is searching for a Precast Inspector to join our project team in our Austin, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry!
The Precast Inspector is responsible for conducting all offsite inspections and testing activities on precast minor/major members.

How you’ll make an impact at Intertek-PSI:
Reinforcing Steel Inspection
Sampling and testing freshly mixed concrete
Stressing of Major Bridge Members
Strength testing of cylindrical specimens
What it takes to be successful in this role:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
3+ years' experience in QC/QA of precast and prestressed members is required
Must have the following certifications: PCI Level II Certification
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
Must be customer focused and quality driven
Must be able to work off shifts and overtime
Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound.
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
Ability to climb occasionally
