D.R. Horton, Inc.is currently looking for a_Resolutions Auditor_. The right candidate will plan, implement, and monitor the steps that must be taken to remedy the weaknesses discovered during an audit. Coordinate a timely response to audit deficiencies from HUD, VA, investors, and/or mortgage insurers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Review loan files to determine that cited deficiencies are valid
• Communicate with department teammates (Production Branches/Underwriting/Closing) to elicit responses to deficienciency
• Prepare a rebuttal to appropriate party to address/cure deficiency
• Maintain audit logs and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management
• Provide back-up and support for teammates as needed
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as directed by management

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
• Two years of experience underwriting and/or auditing mortgage loans

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
