This role allows a team member to flex both their financial and technical skills by implementing technical solutions in Adaptive based on complex business problems the finance team brings.

The Role: As a Senior Financial and Reporting Systems Expert specializing in Adaptive Planning, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial systems. From administering and supporting Workday Adaptive Planning & Workday Financials to spearheading new system development, your expertise will be instrumental in driving our success. You'll collaborate closely with finance business partners to understand complex business challenges and implement tailored technical solutions that optimize forecasting and drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Own the administration and support functions of Workday Adaptive Planning & Workday Financials systems.

• Contribute to new system development, including requirements gathering, system development, testing, implementation, and business partner support.

• Maintain data integrity and standardized end-user processes through policy development and implementation.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and input templates to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis.

• Perform quality assurance testing, identify and fix bugs, and ensure system functionality.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective application configuration.

• Identify and implement changes to enhance system performance and effectiveness.

• Liaise with IT and Accounting departments regarding system and process integration.

• Manage training of new system users and team documentation.

  Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Finance/Accounting preferred or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.

• 3+ years configuring and optimizing Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems.

• Experience with P&L analysis and spreadsheet modeling.

• Excellent data analysis skills, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation skills.

• Superior communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization: Technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces change.

• Analytical, creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
