Krazan and Associates, Inc.is seeking a full-timeDispatcher/ Project Managerto join the Bakersfield, CA office. We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record, strong work-ethic with a professional attitude. The ideal candidate will have dispatch experience for a geotechnical engineering or materials testing company.

The Dispatcher will support the Branch Manager and Project Managers by providing coordination assistance between the Lab Manager, Field Technicians, Job Sites, and Clients.

Duties Include:

Dispatching technicians (coordination of employees daily work assignments and client jobsites needs)

Maintain field personnel equipment needs

Maintain records of field technicians certifications

Order and distribute safety supplies

Complete and generate daily utilization reports

Coordinate and schedule pickups of materials from the field projects

Ensure the proper reporting and documentation of accidents/incident reports to Human Resources and Branch Manager

Take incoming phone calls from clients, contractors and other consultants

Routinely review project budgets billable hours; report discrepancies to Branch/Project Manager

Assist with coordination of inspection and lab reports to clients

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Previous dispatching duties

Knowledge of testing and inspection Or construction

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Must be familiar with the Kern County area and local roadways

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Ability to understand client needs and translate into deliverables

Self-motivated, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Must be insurable under company vehicle policy.

Physically able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb or stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
