We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Healthcare/NHS industry for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant based in Bakersfield, California. In this role, you will be handling a variety of office tasks with a focus on Recognition, Recruitment, and Retention.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute various HR tasks and functions with a primary focus on employee recognition, recruitment, and retention

• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to enhance communication and presentation of HR-related information

• Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process

• Audit HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards

• Manage HR Management Systems (HRMS) for effective data management and reporting

• Handle customer service duties, ensuring timely resolution of employee inquiries and concerns

• Maintain accurate records and databases for all employees

• Assist in the coordination of employee relations activities and initiatives

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources role within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software

• Proven skills in auditing, conducting background checks, and handling benefit functions

• Exceptional customer service abilities

• Experience in recruiting within the healthcare industry

• Ability to create and implement employee recognition programs

• Strong capabilities in managing employee relations

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
