As a Marine Hydrographic Surveyor, your key responsibilities will be to support dredging and construction projects and specialize in precise positioning of equipment, and acquisition/processing of data in marine environments. Responsible for performing hydrographic surveys and maintaining positioning instrumentation on dredging vessels.

You understand NOAA and USACE specifications for hydrographic surveys
You are mechanically inclined and have the knowledge and experience maintaining small vessels (less than 30 feet) to include the ability to tow, launch and recover vessels
What it takes:
Degree in Surveying and Mapping, Engineering, or similar curriculum preferred
2-5 years of field experience in hydrographic surveying, in both single beam and multi-beam hydrography
Professional state license and/or nationally recognized hydrographic certification preferred
Tr ansportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) preferred
Proficient with conventional survey tools, GPS equipment, and hydrographic equipment
Working knowledge of hydrographic data acquisition software
Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be operating and an acceptable driving record
Extensive travel may be required throughout North America, relocation is NOT required
