Sartorius Product Support Specialist in Bangalore, India

The PSS is responsible to ensure that the service environment for the assigned products is complete and up to date to enable the Field Service Teams to execute their role.

The PSS is the primary interface between TSE and manufacturing sites for escalated issues and continuous improvement.

Tasks:

  • Provide 3rd level remote support. Work with responsible PD/engineering and quality teams to resolve issues

  • Ensure all technical information and procedures are complete, "workable" and up to date for assigned product.

  • Responsible to provide details required by technical documentation team to update procedures and documentation as required and to inform the Field Service Teams via Technical Information Notices (TIN)

  • Define Training course content/delivery method for assigned product. Update as necessary during lifecycle. Provide Training (factory or onsite) and onsite support as required

  • Define/Approve standard spare parts assigned product. Define "Critical Level" for parts

  • Responsible for end of service of assigned product

  • Define Maintenance processes and intervals for assigned products

  • Update/Approve service processes and procedures for assigned product

  • Continuous Improvement (Lifecycle/Reliability)

  • Collect and collate Product failure information

  • Work with Quality/PD as part of Continuous Improvement Process

  • Be responsible for ECR/CAPA process/meetings for assigned products

  • Project manager for Service Concept of assigned product.

  • Participate in Stage Gate Process with PD

  • Co-ordinate and track all tech support deliverables as defined in "Service Concept"

Education:

  • Experience considered in lieu of qualification

  • (APAC) Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in a technical engineering role supporting sophisticated capital equipment

  • A basic knowledge of GMP and other pharmaceutical regulations or experience working in another highly regulated environment.

  • You have initial experience in the coordination of complex technical projects combined with excellent organizational skills

  • You use your high technical affinity to understand the functionality of automation systems as well as to interpret technical documentation and mechanical design

  • Experience with basic project management

  • Experience of prioritizing multiple conflicting demands

  • Experience of working directly with internal and external customers

  • Experience of complex fault finding.

  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and reliable.

  • Able to work effectively under pressure.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Able to prioritize workload and customer demands.

  • Strong team player who works well with others.

  • Willingness to travel internationally, approx. 15%

  • Proficiency with MS Office software.
