Alexa Customer Journeys team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer in the mission to make Alexa an expert on itself, providing useful information and experiences to customers seeking to take advantage of all of their devices’ features and capabilities.

In this role, you will be testing solutions and experiences built with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other generative technologies.

Key job responsibilities

You are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality. You should have a combination of:

• Solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts.

• You will spend efforts studying and designing the new methodologies and techniques to facilitate testing, including the state-of-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods.

• You will need to understand test strategy is defined and use this as guide rail for authoring test plans and test cases with minimum guidance from manager/peers.

• You will own test planning, execution and reporting.

• You will collaborates with peers and engineers.

• You will focus on automating repetitive tasks or test cases using established tools.

• You will enforce and report on operational and quality metrics, as well as identifies inefficiencies in test process.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

• Experience in automation testing

• Experience in manual testing

• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API & Mobile testing

• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
