We are looking for: Technical Documentation Specialist .

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, programming guides, API documentation, and readme notes.

  • Collaborate with software developers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.

  • Create clear, concise, and user-friendly content that meets the needs of various audiences, including developers, system integrators, and end-users.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with Siemens style guideline standards and industry best practices for technical writing.

  • Continuously update and improve API documentation based on user feedback, software updates, and new feature releases.

  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to the development of documentation strategies and plans.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the assigned product and related technologies to provide accurate and relevant information.

You’ll win us over by

  • 4 to 8 years of experience as Technical Writer preferred in API documentation, REST API, SDK, and client library documentation.

  • Ability to read software code as source materials in C# and Java

  • Ability to verify and test the API code sample in development environment.

  • Independently plan and monitor projects, ensuring timely and cost-efficient task completion

  • Practical experience in creating technical documentation in a content management system.

  • Practical experience in creating graphics for user documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Programming skills (C#, Java, .NET-Framework)

  • Software development experience with XML

  • Experience with working in a development environment (Visual Studio preferred)
