Description:

Primary responsibilities will be to change and setup mold machines and provide maintenance support to maximize production efficiency. This position offers a great path into becoming a Master Technician.

Will be removing and setting up of the die/tooling for the next run. Provide mechanic support by troubleshooting malfunctions of the injection machine. If unable to complete the repair, will call in the maintenance team for support.

Once a run is completed, they will remove all wires and hoses to be able to pull the tooling and molds out of the press. Once everything is removed, they will then select the new tooling and place the new tool within the machine. They will then hook up all the proper wires, hoses, etc. to make sure the tooling is ready for the Process Technician.

The Setup Technician typically works their way up the Maintenance ladder. C-Tech $24/25hr, within 6 to 12 months can progress to a B-Tech ($2 raise) then A Tech ($2 raise), then Maintenance Tech, and eventually (4-5 years) a Master Tech which makes $40.50hr.

Yearly Raises are around 3% based off performance.

$5,250/year to go back to obtain their bachelor or associates degree
