Job Description:

PositionSummary

Directs and coordinates development and production activities of information systems department at field location. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interprets a variety of technical instructions. Interacts with a variety of associates and management. Functions as a team member within the department and organization,,as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Duties

Gathers information requirements from management, to determine boundaries and priorities of new and existing projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions. Reviews project feasibility studies and establishes work standards. Collects and analyzes test runs on computer to correct or direct correction of coded program and input data. Develops programs from workflow charts or diagrams, considering factors such as computer storage capacity and speed, extent of peripheral equipment, and intended use of output data. Prepares progress reports to inform management of project status and deviation from goals. Reviews information to ascertain costs and plan changes. Participates in technical projects such as determining equipment specifications and developing requirements for specified applications. Confers with management to evaluate, promote, and improve services. Implements company policies with respect to information system functions. Performs other dutes as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 - 4 years’ experience in Information technology or

related area

• Strong problem-solving skills

• A+ Certification or equivalent (for laptop/desktop support)

• Intermediate to advanced Mircrosoft Office Suite Certification or equivalent.

• Basic network theory

• Experience supporting WIFI and ethernet networks.

Basic understanding of Mobile Broadband

Thorough understanding of iOS for supporting users with their mobile devices.

Thorough understanding and experience with SQL. (This will be for writing AS400 queries.)

Advanced Microsoft Access applications.

Thorough understanding and experience writing VBA in Excel and Access.

The ability to rapidly learn how to operate local machine software and web-based applications.

People skills sufficient to bridge the gap between tech and non-tech savvy users, both local and remote.

Must be organized, with demonstrated time management skills, and have the ability to multi-task.

High school diploma or equivalent.

NOTE: Work experience in IT may be considered in lieu of certifications noted above.
